Review of Warning Signs

Warning Signs by Jan Christenson is a book that contains three short stories. They include Warning Signs, Overkill and Quack. All three stories are mysteries that have some unusual characters. They are entertaining and suspenseful.

The author knows how to write a mystery that pulls you in and keeps you interested from beginning to end. All three stories have a female protagonist that comes across as a strong female capable of handling everything that comes their way, including a kidnapping and murder. They were quirky and unpredictable, which I enjoyed.

I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys reading short stories that are suspenseful and well written. I believe this is the first in a series of previously published short stories. I believe that there will be more short story collections released and I will pick them all up to read. I have read most of Jan Christensen’s books and I have loved them all. I think she is a really good author that writes a well crafted story that keeps you guessing and thoroughly entertained. Pick up any of her books and check it out for yourself. You will not be disappointed.
