Review of Blame It On The Mistletoe

Blame It On The Mistletoe by Nicole Michaels is a cute holiday read. It is the story of two people, Brooke and Alex, who knew each other in the past and now have met each other again. It is the story of former friendships and future romances.

Brooke owns a boutique in Missouri and she needs a Christmas miracle. She needs to increase business for the boutique or she may lose it. She is not sure how to do this, but she knows that’s the only way she will still have a business. She has to come up with a plan to make it work.

Alex Coleman is back in town to take care of some family business and he cannot believe his eyes when he sees Brooke. She was the little sister of his best friend, but now she is all grown up. He wants to get reaquainted with her and see if there could be a future. Is there a way that Alex can help Brooke save her business and make her his?

The writing style flows smoothly and the book is a quick easy read. The characters are well developed and well rounded. Brooke and Alex are people you would like to have as friends. Their relationship is sweet and heartwarming and I just wanted to keep finding out about how the relationship would work out.

If you are in the mood for a light funny holiday read, I would recommend reading this book. I have not read any other books by this author but I plan on picking up more of her books.

I received a free copy of this book from NetGalley in exchange for a honest review. I would like to thank NetGalley and St. Martin’s Press for the opportunity to read and review this book.
