Review of The Graves Of The Guilty

The Graves Of The Guilty (Hope Street Church Mysteries, Book 3) by Ellery Adams is the third book in this series.  It is quite an enjoyable cozy.

In this third book, there is again another murder to solve.  This time her sister is a person of interest in the murder and Copper has to prove her innocence.  The Bible Study group lends a hand to find the real killer.  And when a new man enters Cooper’s life, she has more questions than answers, concerning both the murder and her love life.

The author has a great ability when it comes to developing characters and relationships.  I have read the first two books in the series and it has been great watching all the character interactions and watching the characters grow.  The characters are people I would want to be friends with and spend time with.  This is always a plus when you can relate to the characters.

The writing style is very easy to read and flows smoothly.  The author is also able to build suspense and mystery with her words.  She includes many twists and turns to keep you guessing and reading to try to figure things out.  To me this is a sign of a good mystery.

I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a clean well written mystery.  The book is not preachy but it does have some good christian principles.

I received a free copy of this book from NetGalley in exchange for a honest review.  I would like to thank NetGalley and Beyond The Page Publishing for the opportunity to read and review this book.
