Selection Sunday

I know a lot of people use Sundays to organize and prepare for the upcoming week.  That got me thinking about what everyone plans on reading this week.  Will you take something from your oh-so-large To Be Read Pile or a library find or a newly released book?  Comment and let me know what this week’s selections will be.

  1. I’m a little over-extended this week, trying to read everything I’ve got to post reviews for NEXT week.
Need to finish Major Crimes then read ALL of these:
    Eclair And Present Danger
Am I Going To Be Okay?
    Maggie Dove
    The Black Sheep Shadow
    Banana Muffins and Mayhem
    One True Loves
    Vacations Can Be Murder

  2. I’m finishing up an ARC of Address to Die for by Mary Feliz and then I am going to try and make a dent in my TBR pile. There are some terrific series I need to catch up on and some that I need to start.

    • I have Address To Die For too that I need to read. Right now I’m reading Engaged in Death, which is also an ARC and I’m enjoying it. I know what you mean about some of the terrific series that are out there , some of which are new series. Thanks for stopping by.

  3. I just finished Agatha Raisin and the Walkers of Dembley by M.C. Beaton and started The Flanders Panel. I loved M.C. Beaton’s earlier books in both the Agatha Raisin and the Hamish MacBeth series.

      • I am rereading some of my favorites, Mary. I do have many new cozies that I bought on my Kindle. After The Flanders Panel I should start one of those, although every summer I like to read Dandelion Wine by Ray Bradbury.

I love culinary cozies and also download cozies that other readers and reviewers like yourself write reviews for that sound exciting.

      • That’s great that you like to re-read some of your favorites. There are so many cozies to read and not enough time to get them all read. And you have to balance your reading time with your writing time.

  4. I can’t resist new entries in some of my favorite on-going series so The Diva Serves High Tea will be near the top of my list in the upcoming week!

  5. Address To Die For is also on my TBR! I had several reviews due by June 7th (none from your post above), and one is done and the others did not make the cut . . . so I treated myself to Anne of Green Gables, something I somehow missed reading as a girl, and I’m also squeezing in a couple of books I received for a recent birthday, including the latest Liz Mugavero cozy, Murder Most Finicky, and one featuring Josephine Tey as the sleugh, An Expert in Murder. I don’t know which ones I’ll read this week, and which ones I’ll save for later . . . .

    • I really enjoyed Murder Most Finicky and Liz Mugavero’s whole series. I’ve read them all. As a matter of fact, I’ll be posting mu review of that soon (somehow I never posted it when I read it, I wrote it but never posted it).
