Friday’s Question

When authors write, they can choose three different points of view.  They can write in first person, second person or third person.  As a reader, which point of view do you prefer?

  1. I write in first person. It’s personal, more in the moment, and up-front. My protagonist is Kay Driscoll and the stories are seen through her eyes.

The first in the series is The Ginseng Conspiracy.

  2. I prefer third person. For me, I feel like I can play the book as a movie in my head as I read it if it is written in the third person. For a long time I struggled with 1st person but have gotten better at reading books written from that perspective.
