But not all is as it appears in Christmas River this September. After being on the receiving end of several terrifying and mysterious threats, the organizer of the dog parade begs pie baker Cinnamon Peters for help finding the person responsible.

Review:

Whenever I read a Christmas River cozy, I feel like I am visiting old friends that I am catching up on and finding out what is going on in their lives. The characters are well rounded and well developed and the relationship between Cin and Daniel is very heartfelt and loving. And as usual, Warren, Cin’s grandpa, is my favorite and I love the relationship between them.

The writing style flows smoothly and the book is a quick easy read. The author is very talented in her descriptive writing and those descriptions pulled me into the story right from the beginning.

I would highly recommend this book (and series) to anyone who enjoys a well crafted cozy mystery. If you want engaging characters, an inviting setting and a well plotted mystery, you really want to give this series a try.
