Review:

The writing style flows smoothly and defines the characters very clearly by their actions and words. The author is very talented in her descriptive writing and through much of the book, I felt like I was right there in Foxtail Lake, watching all of the action taking place. The mystery is well plotted and had enough clues to sift through and suspects to consider.

The characters are well developed and well rounded. I love the relationship between Callie and her Great Aunt Gracie. You can tell how much they love each other and how close they are. And her and Cass are getting along well and developing a strong relationship. I enjoyed the Cupid aspect of the book, that added an extra layer, in my opinion. And I love all the animals that appear in this book.

I would highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a well crafted cozy mystery. It has everything that you would want in a cozy.
