Review:
The writing style flows smoothly and it defines the characters very clearly through their actions and words. The author is very talented in her descriptive writing and these descriptions added a lot to the story. I could feel Hank’s worry and angst over Mae being in the hospital and I could also feel the excitement over a new relationship that is happening. The mystery is well plotted and moved along at a steady pace, and it was not easily solved.
The characters are well rounded and well developed. Mae has such good friends and they will always help each other, no matter what. We should all be so fortunate to have friends like the Laundry Club Ladies. And her and Hank are getting really well, even though she continues to stick her nose in where it does not belong.
I would highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a well crafted cozy mystery. I wonder what Mae will find herself into next.
