Review:
The characters are well rounded and well developed. Freddie is a hard worker and she enjoys being a reporter. But it comes with some problems too since her boyfriend, Sam, is a detective for the local police force and sometimes they have a conflict of interest. But most of the time it works out just fine. They have to work together to figure out who killed Madeleine Shaw, a famous pet entrepreneur. She and Sam will do what it take tp figure out the murder.
The author is very talented in her descriptive writing and it brought to life Dog Mountain in my mind’s eye. The writing style flows smoothly and the book just flew by while I was reading it. The mystery was well plotted and I enjoyed trying to figure it out.
One thing that I have learned from reading this author is that whatever book I am reading by her will be great. There is something about her characters that draw me right in, they are all caring and loving.
I would high;y recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a well crafted cozy mystery. Grab a copy and enjoy, I am sure you will.
