Review:
The characters are well rounded and well developed. Merry is the owner of Mrs Claus’s Treasures and she always has the Christmas spirit. Then strange things begin happening and Merry cannot figure out why. And when someone is murdered she will have to try and figure out who is responsible to get the Christmas spirit back. I like the fact that Merry did not put herself in too much danger while trying to figure out the mystery. That was a nice change and refreshing.
The author is very talented in her descriptive writing and these descriptions pulled me into the story from the very beginning and took me on a fantastic ride. The writing style flows smoothly and the book is an easy read. The mystery was well plotted and there were enough clues to sift through and suspects to consider. I was surprised at who the culprit turned out to be.
I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a well crafted cozy mystery. I am looking forward to reading the next book in the series.
