Review:

One of the things I really liked about this book is that Josie, the protagonist, does not stumble upon a dead body.  In fact, she did not even see the deceased.  This is very refreshing and much more realistic for me because so many of the books that I read have people finding dead bodies in each book.  Thankfully that is not something that happens in our lives daily.  So I enjoyed the fact that this book handled the murder differently.

The writing style flows smoothly and the book is an easy read.  The book moves along at a fast pace and there was plenty of action and the mystery to solve. Everything was tied up neatly by the end of the book, just the way I like it.  I enjoyed reading about Josie’s family and how protective they are of her.  I wish that Petey, Josie’s dog, would have been in the book more.  Hopefully, I’ll get to spend more time with him in the next book.  I enjoyed learning a little bit more about the twist in the series, I am very intrigued , and look forward to learning even more.

If you are looking for an afternoon read that involves humor, mystery, romance and great characters, this is the book for you.  Grab this book and the other two books in the series, sit back and enjoy.  I received a free copy of this book from the author in exchange for a honest review, which I have given.
