Review:

The characters are well developed and well rounded.  I really enjoyed reading about the friendship that the girls had.  It was refreshing and felt right and very real.  I liked the fact that they all had very distinct personalities but they complemented each other very well.

The writing style flows smoothly and the book is a quick easy read.  The author is very talented in her descriptive writing and through most of the book I felt like I was right there, watching all the action taking place around me.  She also did a fantastic job in writing to the time period and the book really felt like it took place in the 1950’s.  That was refreshing and I really enjoyed it.

The mystery was well written and carried on well throughout the book.  There were enough suspects to consider and clues to sift through to make even the most seasoned armchair detective have a difficult time figuring it out.

I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a well crafted cozy mystery with a nostalgic feel to it.  This book is a really good start to the series.
