Selection Sunday

I know a lot of people use Sundays to organize and prepare for the upcoming week.  That got me thinking about what everyone plans on reading this week.  Will you take something from your oh-so-large To Be Read Pile or a library find or a newly released book?  Comment and let me know what this week’s selections will be.

  1. I finished the second of the Lighthouse Library Mystery series by Vicki Delany, writing as Eva Gates, today and just posted my reviews at http://www.MiddleSisterReviews.com. This is one of the cozy series that is endangered, so I urge all cozy mystery readers to consider supporting it!

I’ve already started the third, but I’m also finishing up a French series (well, the English translations) featuring a winemaker and his assistant. I’m not a wine snob, by any means, so I’m getting quite an education with this one.

I’ve also got some non-fiction books lined up, including a couple by John Croyle, the former University of Alabama football star who has made an even bigger impact as a foster father to dozens of children. I heard him speak many years ago, before I knew a thing about football, and I’m looking forward to reading more about his work off the field. I don’t know how much I’ll get done, but I hope to get started on these three.
